“Night Patrol” by “Rembrandt” (1642)

Judith Lister is one of 24 women whose works hang on the walls of the National Gallery in Amsterdam. The “Singer” painting was not attributed to this artist until 250 years ago. He was recognized during his lifetime, but forgotten after his death, and for centuries his works were attributed to the famous painter Frans Hals or his wife.
