The art event “Tehran Antiquities” was organized with the aim of preserving the stature of the martyrs and keeping alive the memory and names of the myths of Islamic Iran. Each district of the capital will be decorated with a cloud wall bearing the name of the district. Martyrs. 22 well-known designers and illustrators in the country were invited to this event to prepare and present their designs according to this field project approach.

According to the informants, the press conference of the art event of “Saro Qemtan in Tehran” in the presence of Majid Qadri (cultural and artistic agent of the Tehran Beautification Organization), Ali Frozenfar (artistic agent of the Art Department) and Mohammad Zaroi Nasrabadi (head of the Visual Center of the Art Department and CEO of Culture and Henry Nam) was held On Monday (March 22) in the technical field.

At the beginning of this meeting, Farouznefer said: Today is the twenty-second of Isfand, the day of memory of the martyrs, and we also honor the memory of the main heroes of the homeland and our national legends. It is very important to organize our artistic activities in such a way that preserving the stature of martyrdom has a distinctive impact in society. In the past decades, a large part of the activities of the artistic field has been devoted to the subject of martyrs and martyrdom, conveying the message of the martyrs and reviving the names of the martyrs in various cultural and artistic sectors. These works have appeared in the media many times and repeatedly in various national and revolutionary events and have been presented to the public. Today, it is necessary to pay more attention to this issue and to draw the attention of people and various groups of society to the issue of martyrdom and martyrdom by using the media and artistic tools.

And he continued: In the past year and a half, the “Nam” Institute has moved in this direction and in this short time in which it has started its activity, it has done wonderful works and friends have been able to bring many of these works. From art to people’s homes. Of course, a series of field and operational works must occur; Such as the activities of “Siro Qemtan Tehran”, where the “Nam” Institute was able to extract many important works from the treasures and record them on the city walls and display the areas of 22 provinces in Tehran.

Al-Qadri added: The organization of beautification in the past year and a half has done its best to work in line with its duties in giving an identity to the city and beautifying it. One of the good events that started and is still taking place in the city is in the field of wall paintings, whereby an attempt was made to seek the help of prominent artists to improve the artistic taste of citizens and to introduce them to prominent artists in this field. On the same occasion, “Siro Qemtan”, 22 artists in all 22 districts of Tehran depict the names of the martyrs of each district. In addition to the urban murals, we have the agenda of the Martyrs’ Memorial Walls.

Our effort is to make people feel better during Nowruz by holding events such as the colored eggs festival, each of which promises people Newroz and spring. We can start work from April and preparations have been made and we have that on our agenda.

Al-Zarwi Nasrabadi stated that the “NAM” Institute focuses on the social approach to art and the dissemination of works of art among the people. That is, works that somehow reach people’s hands in treasures, galleries, and museums that people don’t know about, for example, by placing them on cultural products or placing them at the city level.

He said about the idea of ”Siro Qemtan Tehran”: The families of the martyrs had received a request from the Beautification Authority, explaining that the names and pictures of their martyrs could not be seen in the city. In this regard, we have tried to use three or four generations of artists for this work. At the beginning of the work, a specialized council of Miharama was formed, and after research, 22 veteran and young artists were invited to this event.

Al-Zarwi Nasrabadi continued: It is assumed that the works will be placed based on the names of the martyrs of each region based on the list provided by the Martyr Foundation. In this way the names of all the martyrs of each region are recorded on the works, and now if the number of names of the region is large, the work relating to that region is repeated three times with different colours. Three walls were planned for each area which were discussed and agreed upon with the owners. It is emphasized that these works will remain permanent as works of art so that they do not wear out in the outside air and that no problem occurs to them.

And he added: Of course, only the names of the martyrs of the imposed war were used, and the names of all the martyrs appeared in these murals. God willing, we will be able to generalize this work in other cities and also in the countries of the region, we will be able to establish this project with the martyrs of that country. We are ready to start this project next year. Region by region, we do this in the presence of the families of the martyrs and the artists themselves. A QR code is placed on each work so that the public can see all the information. Each artist works in their own way and we feel the full diversity of the artists, but the framework that is placed around the work shows that the work belongs to a group.

The CEO of the Nam Institute of Culture and Arts stated: We place the works according to the urban context of that region and there may be changes in the work depending on the context of that region. The names of the martyrs, men and women.

In the end, the exhibition of these 22 works opened in the form of small designs that were supposed to be placed on the wall.
