According to the informants, Khairal Khademi stated, on the sidelines of the visit to the Bostanabad-Tabriz railway, that this year four railway projects with a length of 403 kilometers, Bostanabad and Bostanabad to Tabriz, will be put into operation.
He added: With the opening of this line, the road from Tabriz to Tehran will be shortened to eight hours.

Khademi noted that this railway line will connect Tabriz and East Azerbaijan province with the railway network through the new shortcut and will shorten the rail travel time from Tabriz to Tehran by at least four hours.
He said: The opening of this project has a great impact in transporting passengers from a road to a railway and provides better conditions.
The Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development said: About 3 thousand billion tomans were spent from government resources to connect the distance between Bostanabad and Tabriz, with a daily value of more than 6000 billion tomans.
According to Khademi, the Bostanabad-Tabriz railway line has actually achieved 96% progress and will start its operation as the first 1401 railway project in the coming days in the presence of the country’s top officials.
