The problems of Abadan and Khorramshahr cannot be solved by the general budget

Informants / Khuzestan The director of the Arvand Free Zone Organization said: The problems of Abadan and Khurasanhar will not be solved by the country’s general budget and special attention should be given.

Mohammad Reza Eskandari said today (4 April) at the meeting of the economic headquarters of Khuzestan Province: There are a number of general issues related to the infrastructure of these two cities in Abadan and Khorramshahr, and if we want to return to these two regions. Three thousand billion tomans will be spent in three years.

He added – according to informants – that the problems of these two cities cannot be solved by the state’s general budget and deserve special attention.

Referring to the old infrastructure of Abadan and Khorramshahr, the director of the Arvand Free Zone Organization said, “One of these infrastructures is the Bandar Imam-Shalansheh railway, and if we want to preserve the area in future economic conditions, there is this problem.” It should work.”

And Eskandari continued: The Arvand Canar port is another problem, and the region needs a new port for larger ships to enter and carry out economic work in Arvand.

He added: Both Abadan and Khorramshahr should be included in the free zone because the city center cannot be considered a free zone, but rather its suburbs.
