A violent storm in a small town in the US state of Texas left three people dead and dozens injured.

According to the International Service of the Radio and Television News Agency; According to CNN, more than 600,000 people in this region are without power, while severe weather hit the southern United States for the second day in a row. A thunderstorm accompanied by heavy rain threatened the residents of these areas on Thursday night. A violent storm hit a small town in Texas, leaving nothing but destruction. Three people were killed and dozens injured as a result of this terrible storm. The chief of the fire department of this city says that because of the storm, an area of \u200b\u200bone and a half kilometers was destroyed. I’m speaking now with our Texas-based correspondent Lucy Kavanoff. Lucy, this storm was obviously very scary. Tell us about your feedback. What did people tell you?

Reporter: It’s really interesting to see the progress in cleaning up the area and the situation after the storm. We were here early in the morning. This entire street, which is a major thoroughfare, was directly hit by the storm. This street was littered with the effects of the storm. We saw heavy machinery removing power lines and fallen tree branches. As well as heavy and heavy metal pieces of rooftops that fell into the street. There’s a pile of these across the street. You can see that the movement of cars has resumed. When the camera pans down this side of the street, you see a residential area with lots of houses. You see a brick building that used to be a church that has been destroyed. This could explain the speed and destructive power of that storm that was capable of causing such damage to that building. Many residential homes were completely demolished. People in this part of America are used to extreme things like tornadoes. There are several shelters in the area, including one two blocks away. But people in the area report that they didn’t have a chance to go to shelters, which shows how fast the storm was.
